To you, the answer is obviously "God did". An atheist would probably look to science for his/her answers. Either way, the question proves nothing.

I do hope you haven't deluded yourself into thinking that you're somehow a "free thinker". Trust me, the church doesn't encourage the hard questions. They just want a chance to indoctrinate you further.
