I really don't get your argument at all, or it is a strawman.
How do you even qualify "better" drugs? Drugs with lower addictive rate? It is the control of
distribution of drugs that stems addiction and substance abuse - how much easier do you think it is to grow a cannabis or opium plant than to distill alcohol or cure tobacco to a desired flavour?
