I disagree. Remember how Kamito is the type to rescue a lost kitten. Perhaps he wants to stop Muir from feeling like she's a weapon its similar to what happened with Milla he wants them to know what its like to be human plus he's looking out for his little sis.
On that note does he ever find out his other teammate lily is in Team Inferno
