Then how about if we doubt that Shannon had feelings for Battler in the first place? When Shannon said that it sounded like a fake hint. Something that would help Jessica to hide her feelings for Battler ( Since she was rejected, she doesn't want that Battler knows about her NOW as a human, but as a Witch, so she can be how Battler wanted. )
