Um, isn't this an LN adaptation? Maybe we'll know the answer to your question if we read the LN. Though I don't know how we could do that.
I don't think being a harem-loving pervert itself is a bad thing per se. It's what kind of person that harem-loving pervert is that matters. If he doesn't care about his women more than as things to have sex with, then he's bad. But not all harem-wanting men are like that. It does seem like the lord Shiruka was being given to is that kind of bad harem-loving pervert, though.
I saw some people at LHTranslation comments section calling Shiruka a b*tch. I don't agree with that, but what do you guys think?
