Not much action in this episode, just a lot of talking. Thanks to that, they had the golden opportunity to scale down the episode's quality. Despite all that, there weren't many new revelations within the episode itself. I could have sworn that some of the dialogue resembled some of the heated discussions in the past episode threads.

Aside from everything else, this episode pretty much confirms that Sybil values its pursuit for Makishima's brain much more than interests regarding human welfare, but I guess that's not really surprising for most of the people here. This just goes to show how utterly detached they are from the realm of human concerns. It's as fascinating as it is utterly horrifying.

Also, I've mentioned it before, but Akane's growth as a character has been quite impressive.
