I think it'll be fine for Japanese audience to get hooked on.
The voice acting is top notch, and didn't bore me even for a second in both episodes.
The emotions expressed feel very genuine.
Especially Shujin. My god, he NAILED that role. It fits like a glove.
Perhaps y'all reading subtitles are getting bored doing so.
