For real! Probably add a bit of nuance to selection for precision weapons.
Battle Rifle will probably have the advantage in medium range, probably from greater rate of fire. But the DMR will have a greater zoom, and it doesn't have to worry about the three round burst spreading everywhere will do more damage per each trigger pull. Any number of ways to easily make them work differently.
And heck. We still have that BFG, and that hand held rifle grenade launcher we saw in the CGI trailer. Lots of stuff to find out about still.
