Hmm..
I'd call it an extreme form of idealism, but not religious.
It's an unrealistic burden of faith in humanity to work beyond a private agenda, which is still more fathomable than faith in deities of little to no foundation.
But I get what you're sayin'.
As for Dictator idolism, that's an entirely different plane of problem.
