Well he has Saito and Ben and a Mecha suit that looks to be able to be upgraded and that's just one possibility for a S2 plot. My feeling is that getting him back into the Hero biz isn't the hard part for a second season - getting a good storyline that doesn't crater is a more likely potential problem
OT, I seriously love your your avatar gif! I've not seen any of Magica Madoka but I am a fan of Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. and know a bit about MM. Very funny gif!
