And so, my most anticipated anime series for the past three years has finally aired, and Episode 1 Saki Achiga Hen definitely did not disappoint... ;D

Spoiler:

We see primary-school Nodoka where she used to play mahjong for a short while before moving on to where she eventually ends up in the original series. Meanwhile, her old friends, who see her win the middle school championships, decide to all go to the same high school (the Achiga in the title) and go forth to the Nationals to try and meet up with her. I like the main backdrop of the series, as well as the backstory that's building up with some of the original cast. Hoping to see more cameos later... ^_^

...by the way, what was with that long-haired girl and her broken-arse "let me hoover up all them dora" power? I'm calling BS man... then again, it IS a Saki series, there has to be broken players (and steamy lesbian school girls) everywhere... ;3

Good to have Saki Sundays back, I've missed them for three long years... ;_; (Even if it is a side series XD)
