Well, it is half-and-half. Half of it is free-wheeling capitalism, where greed and pressure to survive is the main theme, and the other half is the state-bureaucratic-capitalism, where the officials controls special sectors and sell special rights and lands to their friend and relatives.
Anyway, I don't think I should derail this thread further that I already have.
