For instance, the oneshot MC had reasonable levels of awkwardness you're find in an ordinary teenager, but then here in the first chapter, his awkwardness was raised several levels higher, making him a bit painful to watch. The situations felt a tad bit more contrived too.

Still, it does seem to be faster paced than I'm used to, so I'll stick around for it. Let's just hope it doesn't fizzle out any time soon.

All that aside, is it just me or is WSJ producing more teen romance titles as of late? Could it be indicative of a slight demographic shift towards love-struck teenagers?

The oneshot MC is reasonably less awkward because he was already knew who Sana is.

In the serialization, he was asked out on a date by not just a female stranger, but a female stranger whose reputation precedes her.
