Random Thoughts on Episode 05:
Spoiler for Ep05:
- Nobody but Jo and Sana seem to trust Jin. Hard to blame them though, since his motives are very shady in nature. Revenge is seldom portrayed in a good light.
.
- I still insist that Sana is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. She has the symptoms and the situation was ideal for fostering it. Although with the relevation of Jin's relation to her father, her current attachment to Jin can be attributed to different reasons.
.
- Jo's nonchalancy about Jin is amusing. His trademark phrase of "Whatever Jin does, I'll do as well" is practically begging to be twisted into slashfics. The horror, the funky horror.
.
- I would not be surprised if Jin transforms into an antagonist later on, but regarding the piano scene, I am willing to give Jin the benefit of the doubt. Sana may have been whispering and Jin was thus unable to hear her. Additionally, playing the piano requires concentration, and Jin may have entered the 'zone'. There was no concrete evidence that Jin connected Sana's secrets to the piano playing.
.
- Given the preview's title and the nameless youths, people are going to die in spades in episode 6. Remember folks, it sucks to be nameless in anime.
Cheers.
