I'm so disappointed : battles, vajra reversal, sheryl's disease, galaxy plot, colonization were totally rushed ! Even the songs were rushed !

The worst, IMO, is the LT whose resolution was totally messed up. Macross F was sold to us as a "galactic love story", everything was in place for a real ending and Kawamori definitely trolled us. Alto-hime prefers sky over Sheryl, over personified awesomeness ... Voilà, voilà...

Kawamori, you lost your golden touch. Escaflowne is sooooo far away...
