do like seeing characters get abused
. But only when it's A) funny, B) fun, or C) leads to interesting character development. Seeing yet another anime girl overreact doesn't do much for any of the three, but the dinner table scene satisfies both A and B.
Telliamed, that's a great observation about making the wrong choice. It's definitely a more refreshing approach.
