Part of me is still holding out for Asem's arc to be based on a three-way free-for-all between Flit & crew, the UE and the Federation. It might not be any MS battles on a massive scale, and perhaps too complex for younger audiences to follow, but it could offer more plot twists than your standard good guys versus bad guys conflict.
