There is hardly any fanservice in 00. All the romance shown is real life, instead of one guy surrounded by attractive girls but he hardly notices (Geass/Frontier).
And it isn't like those shows where their is a boy and a girl who hate each other and then become lovers or whatnot.
We get real relationships with Saji and Louise/ Billy and Sumeragi. The mentor/parent relationship with Soma and Sergei. I think 00 does exceptionally well on relationships.
