Not to mention, I get that "radio" communication (or whatever it is they are using) is easier to use, and a good habit to get into. Just speak to broadcast to everyone on the channel, rather than use magic to deliberately connect to people, some of whom may be out of telepathy range. Also allows you to save magic for attack and defense stuff that may be needed.

But I don't recall seeing a mic on Nanoha in StrikerS ep1; I kinda assumed it to be a more hi-tech communicator, perhaps a smaller self-contained unit in the ear, or handled by a device like RH.
