Next plot twist! Welkin and Maximillian had the same mother! After divorcing Welkin's dad due to him being emo like his son, Welkin's mother went into Imperial lands and was swept up in a whirlwind of lust by the Emperor in the style of "The King & I". She then got tossed aside and died from lack of exposure to young Fabio, a deadly condition if there ever was one. Maximilian then went back through time in order to attempt to save his mother, which is why he is about 7+ years old than Welkin! He failed because the Fabio plushies he obtained did not contain enough Fabio essence to save his mother. This is why he is bitter towards Gallia! Because within its borders the legendary Fabio was born!
