I just started watching this series upon a recommendation and....
Wow....
I'm not into romance comedies (LoveCom was the only other series I've watched) much but I really like this series. Far more entertaining.
But we can't really call this a romance series, can we? It's far to early in the season to see what developed between the main characters.
Anyway, my only comments to this episode is

the fight scene. It really impressed me that we get to see Taiga's true ferocity (a la Roaring Tiger). Having strong feelings for Kitamura pretty much took over her conscience. Blinded by passion (or ignoring the fact that Sumire was her senior AND Student Council President) Taiga went all out. How often does a girl call out another with a bokken? Amazingly enough it seemed a pretty even fight. Sumire got the last hit, but Taiga got the last laugh.
And, is it possible, that both Minorin and Ami also had feelings for Kitamura? By their expressions after the clean up, to me it seemed so.
Also, speaking of Kitamura, how big of ballz do you need to have to confess your love to someone in front of the ENTIRE student body? I couldn't have done that in my days of high school. Not even in front of one classroom.

I'm looking forward to the next episodes.
