Watched the raw.... well, regardless of how it might compare or not to the novel series -- as an ending to the anime series, I found it excellent and enjoyable. A series with an actual ending, yay!!!!
And one of top kissing scenes I can recall in any anime... at all.
And plenty of possibility for spinoff or sequels involving almost any of the characters.
