I don't know, really. Aside from Haruhi, there aren't a lot of light novels that sell well in the west. For instance, Seven Seas halted production of the Strawberry Panic novels after volume 2 because it didn't make all that much profit and the recession forced them to make cutbacks. Therefor it's extremely rare to find them these days (I've seen volume 2 on Amazon asking for a few hundred USD just yesterday  ). |
