@ Rain - Yup, they do get attached to the chibi's a bit later on. Maya in particualar since Irish-tan calls her mom/mommy unlike the normal one who keeps calling her by last name only. It's shown later on that Irish-tan refuses to talk because he's shy and not because he's a dick.
