I'm planning something, but since Koto kits are more expensive pound-for-pound than Gunpla--plus have slightly different design/assembly, I'm not sure fi I want to commit to doign what I plan on doing.

Not sure what you want to mod. Here are some pages I found with gorgeous TSFs.
Currently working on my A10 and A6 myself, and some 1/144 kits. Its a long way ahead.
