I still mean to buy a PS3 eventually, but I also took the time to actually look up what I already had.
The website database they referred to that carries the playability status of games is
here. It is currently only available on the JP side of the site unfortunately.
What I have seems pretty spotless for now other then some memory card issues. I never meant to let go of my PS2 anyway. lol
This comes as a disappointment for me, but due to the fact that the genre's and brands of games that I enjoy will probably continue to be on Sony consoles, it doesn't really change my expectation that I'll buy one eventually. The thing I would dislike the most is if I had to consider investing in some other console just to play what I like... thats just a waste of cash to me... lol
