Maybe they did the series for the cuteness and the fanservice
the plot was no that important in this series

Anyway, if the show is inly 13 episodes I don't see the story going anywhere, because practically nothing happened in the first 6 episodes. Not that the story matters much here, IMO this show exists just for the comedy, cuteness and fan-service.
