C.C. does have a Chinese look to her. There's several upper-tier art from pro artists that did her in the qugen, so she does have that going for her.
Perhaps also the fact that Code Geass is known WAY more than Spice and Wolf? CG is still a talked-about title while S&W is to a lesser extent. I have been getting the graphic novels of S&W so that I will see the full story since I'm doubting that 3rd season will ever happen.
