Ah I finally get it. So essentially, I can't get the True end in 1 run right? Based on the FAQ, I have to play parts of After Story thrice to unlock the True End. If I'm correctly interpreting iamandragon's FAQ now, it goes like this:

Spoiler for Getting True End in 1 run:

1. Earn 6 orbs before the Fuko route, spend 1 for her wish, and end up with 7 at the end of the School Arc.

2. Play through the After Story normally and earn 5 orbs (according to the FAQ). It gives me a total of 12, unlocking the orb for Akio. Make a save for Ushio's birth and make another for May 16.

3. Load the May 16 save, choose Akio's route to earn 13 orbs.

4. Load the save on Ushio's birth, and with 13 orbs I reach my goal of the True End.

I think that's what he meant. Esssentially I have to play critical sections of After Story 3 times achieve the True End without having to restart the After Story from the beginning.

Am I on track?

Oh and 2 final questiona (sorry if I ask too much):

Spoiler for Regarding Misae's and Tomoyo's Orb:

According to the FAQ, I should save at May 11 in Tomoyo's route and come back later if I haven't gotten Toshio's orb. Does the FAQ mean that I should stop, finish Toshio's story and come back to get Tomoyo's and Misae's orbs?

Or can I just go about finishing their stories in the suggested sequence without having to backtrack?

Also, if the FAQ says I should reload that save after Toshio's orb, since I should do Fuko's story before Toshio, would Tomoyo and Misae's orbs be these 2 orbs that you say are dependant on sacrificing an orb for Fuko?

Again sorry for the lengthy questions. I have a couple of friends who don't frequent boards much, so I'm pretty much also their lifeline to playing this game to its full potential. If I do it right, they do it right.
