You're not suggesting the new
GUNDAM is going to be less popular or generate less attention than Code Geass, now are you?
If so, you need to learn a thing or two (or three, or hundred) about the Japanese market.
What you're suggesting is more absurd than saying Gobots is more popular than Transformers.
The amount of money a Gundam franchise generates is so overwhelming, Code Geass (or any other robot shows for that matter) isn't even on the same
digit of profit margin.
Aaaaaaaanyways.....
Gundam 00 will most definitly take up the golden time evening time slot, as always.
No sane station would air it in the late-night time slot Code Geass had.
However, it is quite possible that Sunrise doesn't want two of their
own shows to compete for the slice of pie.
In this case, the one that would take the harder hit would be Code Geass, as it is the much smaller franchise.
Afterall, they do have the new
MACROSS to worry about already.
2007 is shaping up to be the greatest year in many years for robot anime fans.
Now if we had another good super robot show to premier after Gurren Lagann ends, I couldn't ask for more.
