Hmm, I was just thinking about the storyline now that there seems to be a "final boss" above the Akatsuki leader. He's being sent after Naruto, and I doubt we'd have two consecutive major battles involving Sasuke, which is what we'd get if the next in the story was Itachi/Kisame. So next fight should be AL/Pein or maybe Zetsu/Tobi (assuming Tobi isn't actually dead). I wonder what would happen with the members if the AL were to somehow die before them...or if they were to find out that they might have been lied to this whole time about Akatsuki and it's goals.
