Well, her not trying to involve others is not due to a lack of trust, but rather from the (slightly arrogant) wish to protect them. Misaki's attitude is completely opposite, as it's from the wish to protect herself, being unable to trust anyone.
... but as you said, Touma did give her a taste of her own treatment... or will I guess. This much isn't a spoiler right?
