And it was logical to say that the sun orbits the earth, and that the planets are actually stars.
And when theism was a big deal, it made sense to say that the earth is the center of the universe.
However, science has disproved all of the above, and as you stated, it has disproved determinism as well. While it may make sense to you, remember that an individual can only observe so much about things on
our own scale, and beyond that is impossible. Especially on the scale of the microscopic realm of quantum physics.
