Other than that I am aware that the age of consent in Japan is 13 and in addition they can get legally married at age of 16.

Although they still need consent if they're minor (20 years old I think...since age of majority is 20 in Japan).

From an anime point of view, 2 examples comes into mine, one being Toradora in which Ryuuji mention that he and Taiga will get married once he turn 18 in a few months, the other being Baka to Test, where Yuji and Shoko already stamped their marriage paper (albeit against the wish of Yuji...), but they're not old enough...
