Then you start to feel bad for her. I'm presuming now that the title, Sola, refers to not only Yakas in general, but to Matsuri, Mayuko, and most definitely Aono. Looking back to Ep.6, it seems she loved Yorito so much to be willing to kill herself. And, in death hoping to be by his side. Unfortunately, Matsuri revived her which is why she asked "Why did you revive me?" That is more than enough proof that she and Yorito are not blood related. Aono's lived a long life alone, just wanting to be by Yorito again and keep him with her.
However, undying love and wanting to be with Yorito for centuries would eventually lead to something of a obsessive nature. If she indeed revived or recreated Yorito just for the need to have him by her side in every time period, then she has probably grown to be very clingy to and became obsessed with Yorito; not wanting him to be with anyone else including Matsuri.
I'm starting to see Orion's suggestion as a possibility as I mentioned before that she maybe have probably killed Yorito, not only over jealously, but over a very strong love for him. It seems beyond a Romeo and Juliet style ending to be with each other after death. That she went so far to kill herself and possibly revived Yorito so many times over including altering or erasing his memories.. That seems more likely now, seeing that Aono is willing to go so far to kill Matsuri, but not by her hands alone... Now, with Matsuri back in her life and Yorito's, she seems wanting to do anything to keep Yorito by her side.
The only one factor that can change all this centers on Matsuri, as we see that Yorito still longs for Matsuri, even after centuries of being away from her. But, there's got to be something else we're missing here-- about Aono, Matsuri, Mayuko, Yorito and 3 months ago and the past...
However, this anime continues to surprise me at each turn as this episode did. I can't wait for Ep.8 now and see Yorito's face when he snaps out of that trance... oh boy!
