Perhaps the main question behind School Days is why exactly do all these girls flock to Makoto like he's some sort of Cassanova or Don Juan? He has no redeemable qualities, is not rich, or good in sports, not particularly smart nor particularly great in the looks department, and certainly not an expert in seducing women.
For all the guys who sit and watch Makoto and wonder why their lives can't be like his, with girls spreading their legs left and right, just remember that this is anime. The impossible becomes possible.
