I'd just like to note that the Jyuubi has been split up in nine different beasts, each with their own consciousness. None of these nine have ever talked about the Jyuubi, or displayed interest in fusing into the Jyuubi.
That being said, the actual Jyuubi doesn't currently exist. Only the split-up parts, and I don't know about the Kyuubi, but the Hachibi for one seems to be satisfied with his current situation.
