That's because the character designer for Chuunibyou is Ikeda Kazumi, who does the designs for KyoAni's Key shows. The character designer for Tamako Market is Horiguchi Yukiko, who did the character designs for K-On.
Really, the only way to stop Horiguchi's designs from reminding people of K-On is to not have Horiguchi design characters
