I've seen on the Gargantia website that they will be releasing a novel 少年と巨人(A Boy and His Giant) that narrates Ledo's formative years in space.
That will be a very interesting book to read, as this would give us more insight into Alliance culture and who Ledo's friends were(if the cover is any indication), provided it can get translated into English for the benefit of us non-Japanese readers. Will anyone be planning to make a(unofficial) translation anytime soon?
