If that were the case it doesn't work.
Because the only thing I say to myself is,
hurry up and skip it. But this episode (#4) I was already into the eerie atmosphere from the very beginning so I forgot to skip it and as you said, it was highly irritating!! It never happens to me for instance with American Horror Story, on the contrary.
