Since Kirito always stay close with Lyfa in vol.3-4, we don't know what will happen if Kirito Log out away from Lyfa position and log in again.
And it seems they fixed this probelm when ALO run again.

I think Lyfa mentioned it before that if you log out from the game while not in the town, your game body might be left behind in a vulnerable state but if you log out in town it won't. Kirito's random positioning in the first time spawn is because of some of his corrupted character data, that problem is fixed when he deleted his corrupted items from SAO. Thus, when he logs for the next time, that kind of thing won't happen again. Logging in either from NerveGear or Amusphere doesn't matter, just that since NerveGear can still kill with the microwave it's not used for game playing anymore.
