I mostly admire the melodies and instrument use in her songs, but sometimes I question whether she actually wrote the instrumental parts or someone else did it for her, because many of them are so distinctly different.
Now and then I go back to her older hits from 1999-2001, because I feel she's been losing creativity recently. Her albums are getting closer to generic rock as she went along. There's something wrong if you start propping up your sales figures by releasing singles compilations a year from each other.
