When Seki Tomokazu's character smashes Sugita Tomokazu's character into the shelf in episode 12, Sugita says "Asia". The whole sequence bears a resemblance to G Gundam's overall flair, and Master Asia (the likely reference) was a major character in G Gundam, which starred Seki Tomokazu as Domon Kashuu.
