I think UC Gundam is Gundam at it's best, but I'll still take shows like Macross over it for various reasons. I can't stand Gundam Wing, it's one of the few shows I have an active dislike for. Then there's shows like Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Tetsujin 28, Giant Robo, Patlabor, and many others, with a variety of different styles and flavours.
