We get to see why gunships haven't been deployed before. Massive collateral damage. I swear they've got macross missile swarm pods on 'em. Nice in open space but a lot of civilians get killed in the crossfire.
Looks like Great Oppai Meganeko has staged a coup in HQ, military types have taken it over. Most of the operators are replace. Not dead yet.
Seems like Haruki's dad as finally figured out what's going on, though he is under house arrest now.
And remember the guy with no hands? Well he resupplies the crew, making up for his asshole ways. Of course you can guess where this is going.
