Well according to reports on other sites and the wiki, he is going to be non canon and only for the stage play.
In the play, he transformed into Ace, Smoke and Kizaru.
Basically his power works by completely transforming into someone else and he can only use all the powers and techniques of that person. How his own Haki affects the powers of the person he transforms into is unknown.
Unlike Bon Clay who transforms into someone else's appearance but retains his own skills.
