Having never fired a gun, I can only assume - from the strength of my little fingers - that it would be very difficult/impossible for a real person. Kid being a) a fictional character and b) a non-human one, gets a certain amount of leeway for the look of the thing. I can't see any practical reason for using his pinkies.
He is
great when he gets angry about something as simple as asymmetry. His reaction to the Pharaoh made episode 3 for me. Never mind the fact he was going to die otherwise, he lost his temper and destroyed the pyramid because of the imperfection.
