If it has a serious plot, it would probably be about another form of stalking or obsession/exploitation. It was clearly from indicated from the last episode that it was Soushi who replied to Yamada's letter, and that he has been trying to stalk her ever since. I hope I am wrong, because that would be weak sauce, unless Soushi obsession becomes a danger to Yamada. Now that would be interesting, fooling the viewer in thinking that it is another lovey dovey romcom, but turns into a thriller or horror.

Dunno, it's supposed to be 12 episodes and we're almost half way without anything close to what you described (i.e. plot) taking place... only implied

Anyway, I guess it's time to quit complaining about another anime, and wait for the fanart and doujinshi that will pick up the interesting elements of what I have seen thus far
