Mizushima NEVER said that 00 has no meaning. He just said that the title was initially a placeholder, but that 00 did have several significant meanings that would be more apparent as the show progresses.
I don't see why anyone would put more stock into what blogs have to say rather that what Mizushima says in his interviews. He's given a ton of them, and I've read most of them. :P
