Please PLEASE, for the love of God check out Noein. If you like Narue no Sekai or Iriya no Sora, you would love it. Like Narue or Iriya, it's basically really more or less a love story set on a sci-fi background, though a tad darker in some parts. Beautiful? Hell yeah. Fitting ending? You took the words right out of my mouth.

I was also gonna rec Saikano, but on second thought the ending might not appeal to you. I thought it was fitting end though.
